How seou.ai uses essential, functional, analytics/performance, and marketing cookies, and how users can manage those choices.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, device identifiers, and scripts that help a website remember information or measure activity.

Cookie Categories

seou.ai groups cookies and similar technologies into four categories. Essential cookies are always active. Functional, analytics/performance, and marketing cookies are optional and can be changed in the cookie manager.

Essential cookies: required for secure sign-in, OAuth protection, session management, privacy preferences, CSRF-protected forms, and safe operation of the app.
Functional cookies: remember optional preferences and enable optional third-party features such as Google Business Profile autocomplete. Blocking these may make the product less convenient, but manual business setup remains available.
Analytics/performance cookies: help us understand page usage, performance, reliability, and product engagement. Google Analytics and similar optional analytics scripts are blocked until consent is granted.
Marketing cookies: may support campaign measurement, attribution, retargeting, or advertising personalization if introduced in the future. These are currently not required for the app and remain blocked unless accepted.

Current Cookie And Storage List

This list reflects the current application implementation and may evolve as the service changes.

iseoup_session: first-party essential HttpOnly cookie used to authenticate sessions. It expires after about 12 hours, or about 30 days when remember-me login is used.
iseoup_oauth_state: first-party essential HttpOnly cookie used to protect Google OAuth flows. It expires after about 5 minutes.
iseoup_cookie_consent: first-party essential cookie used to store cookie choices. It expires after about 180 days.
rememberMe local storage: first-party functional browser storage used to remember whether the remember-me checkbox was selected. Users can clear it by disabling functional cookies or clearing browser storage.
Google Maps Platform requests: optional third-party functional requests loaded only when functional cookies are allowed and Google Business Profile autocomplete is available. seou.ai stores only the selected display name, Place ID, and Google Maps link.
_ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics cookies, only if GA4 is configured and analytics/performance consent is granted.
seou.ai tracking script identifiers: optional analytics/performance technology for customer websites if enabled in the future. It should not be installed or fired until the relevant website visitor has consented where required.

Managing Choices

You can open Manage cookies from the footer or use the button on this page. Rejecting optional cookies does not remove essential security cookies, but it blocks optional analytics and marketing technologies from being loaded by seou.ai.

If you previously allowed analytics and later reject it, seou.ai attempts to remove known first-party Google Analytics cookies from the current domain and stops loading analytics scripts going forward.

Third-Party Sites

Third-party websites, browser extensions, embedded services, and connected providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. seou.ai does not control cookies placed by third-party websites after you leave seou.ai or by customer websites where seou.ai code is installed.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when cookies, vendors, laws, or product features change.
